The pharmceutical found that it was much slower than competitors where
bringing to market of new products was concerned. This had a major impact
on the bottom line of the business. It transpired that the ‘silo
mentality’ of the various departments was one of the root causes
of the problem..
Solution
The solution involved all departments and ensured a far better understanding
of each other’s needs and modus operandi.
Results
Our interventions lasted several months and as a result the ‘silo
mentality’ is now something of the past. The main result though
is that time to market decreased 40%.
