Business Challenge
The (senior) analysts of the structured finance department of a bank possessed
excellent financial and banking skills. However, the bank and the individuals
involved had difficulty communicating this excellence to their colleagues
and external professionals such as solicitors and tax advisors. Most importantly
though, the customers and prospects of the bank were not always convinced
by the bankers to do business with the bank.
Solution
One by one, the (senior) analysts of the department went through the Dale
Carnegie Course.
Results
The bank declined an in-company solution, as the open programme had the
additional advantage of ‘exposing’ the analysts to other companies
and people with different experience backgrounds. This enriched the programme
even further.
“The best training programme I have ever attended”.
*Improved presentation skills
*Much better communication with clients
*Increased dealflow
